Entry Information

In 2024, the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE is open to a maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) vehicles with two participants each. 

Each vehicle is considered a single team.

Participant Information

-
  • All participating vehicles must contain two occupants: a driver and a navigator.
  • The driver will be responsible for driving the team vehicle over the course of the five-day rally event, while following all guidelines laid out in the official Race Regulations, and obeying all traffic laws of the United Arab Emirates.
  • The navigator is responsible for the Road Book, and supplying navigation information to the driver, including all upcoming route directions, course hazards, or tests.
  • Neither 1000 Miglia S.r.l. nor Octanium Experiences LLC will be held liable for any traffic offences incurred by a participating team during the rally.
  • Prior to opening to the rally, a training session will be held to familiarize all participants with navigation and driving techniques in the Rally. Attendance of this session is not mandatory, but highly recommended, especially for first-time regularity rally competitors.
  • Participants are recommended to have basic levels of mechanical knowledge, in the event of an unexpected breakdown or issue with their vehicle. Octanium will have limited technical support available during the rally.

Eligible Vehicles

  • 1000 Miglia Class, for cars manufactured between 1927 and 1957 that have competed at least once in the original 1000 Miglia race, officially registered in the 1000 Miglia Registry and pertaining to the 1000 Miglia coefficient list.
  • Classic Icons class for cars manufactured up to 1976. Vehicles should possess a valid FIVA card
  • Contemporary Icons, for distinctive or historic automobiles manufactured from 1976 onwards.

Requirements

  • All participants are required to secure a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) with a validity of not less than one year, prior to arriving in the United Arab Emirates. Participants without an IDP will not be permitted to take part in the rally.
  • All GCC participants are required to have a valid GCC licence.
  • All participants are required to sign the disclaimer form before commencing the event.
  • All participating vehicles will be inspected and certified by Fédération International des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA) prior to the commencement of the rally.
  • 1000 Miglia Era Vehicles must complete registration in the 1000 Miglia Registry prior to beginning the event.
  • All vehicles entering the United Arab Emirates must hold a valid Carnet De Passage. A CPD is a globally insured customs guarantee document confirming that customs duties and taxes will be paid in case the vehicle does not return to the country of registration. 

How to Enter

  • Participants will receive a link to a private log-in area where they can enter their vehicle details and participant details.
  • Submissions will then be approved by our Internal Selection Committee to ensure the vehicle complies with 1000 Miglia standards and regulations.
  • Upon completing this information, selection and fee payment, participants will be awarded an official participant number in the rally.
